When you ask for a repair quote on this website we collect your name, your phone number, your phone's make and model and the problem you describe.

We use these details only to reply with a quote and to deal with your repair. We may reply by phone call, text message or WhatsApp, using the number you give us.

When you ask for a valuation we collect your name, phone number, email address if you give one, and details of the phone: model, storage, condition, network and any notes you add.

We use these details only to give you an estimate and arrange to check the phone in the shop.

When we buy or take in a phone as a trade-in we record the seller's name and phone number, a note of the identity document we checked, the phone's details including its IMEI or serial number, the amount paid and the seller's declaration that they own the phone.

We keep this record to show where each phone came from and to help prevent the sale of lost or stolen phones.

When you buy from us or pay for a repair we keep a record of the sale. If you choose to give them, this can include your name, phone number, email address and postal address so we can contact you about your repair, warranty or balance owed.

Quote requests and valuations: to take the steps you ask for before any repair or sale.

Sales and repair records: to provide the goods and services you buy and to keep the business records UK tax law requires.

Phone buy-in records: our legitimate interest in checking that phones we buy are not lost or stolen, and any legal duty to keep such records.

We do not sell your details or use them for marketing.

Your information is stored with the service providers that host this website and its database for us. They may only use it to provide that service.

We share information with the police or other authorities only when the law requires it, for example if a phone offered to us is reported stolen.

We count taps on our call, directions and quote buttons to see which ones help customers. This records only which button was tapped, on which page, and when. It does not record your name, phone number or IP address, and it does not use cookies.

Sales, repair and phone buy-in records: as long as UK tax and accounting law requires.

Some records, such as sales and phone buy-in records, may need to be kept for legal reasons even if you ask us to delete them. We will tell you if that applies.
